Sabr keeps rolling with another W over winless Taqwa Oct 15, 2019
by Ghost Writer

The last game of the night featured 2 teams going in opposite directions. However, team Taqwa lead by Ali Wadee, made a trade with Ikhlas hoping to hit the reset button on the season. Perhaps facing off against a team that has not won in the past two weeks, might work in their favour. Also, #1 overall pick Zubair Waheed was also absent from this one. A perfect recipe for a possible win for Taqwa? The first period was a seesaw battle back and forth with both goaltenders standing on there heads not allowing a goal. The second period stayed tight up until the half way point when Fahad Panchbhaya scored a goal through the five hole passed superstar goalie Raza Butt. Sabr kept pressing and with a little less than 3 mins, GM Mohammed Hamoudi scored his first of the season giving Sabr that insurance marker helping Sabr keep there unbeaten streak alive. Mohammed Khandwala got his first win and shutout of the year. The cross division battles continue next week as Sabr will face off vs unbeaten Ikhlas. Taqwa will look to get there first win vs Yaqeen.
