by David Ciombar

The first game of the night featured the season series finale between Haya and Ihsan. In their previous two meetings, the teams have tied, and Haya has won one game. New additions to their respective teams; Farooq Sani and Ibrahim Hindy were also in attendance looking to make an impact.

The game started off at a fast pace, both teams looking to outwork the other and come out to an early lead. Ihsan would draw first blood. Ammal Esmatyar put home a rebound and Ihsan would lead 1-0. Ibrahim Khan would respond for Haya before the end of the first period.

Haya would open the second with new found energy. They line of Ali Haroon, Ubaid Khan and Suleman Bhatti gave ihsan a tough time with their relentless fore-check and cycle game down low. Their efforts resulted in a goal by Ubaid Khan and a lead for Haya. After some penalty trouble, Haya found themselves short handed. Ammal again found the back of the net on a blast from the point to tie the game.

The teams would end tied, and look to next weeks games to establish playoff position.
