Ridha lets the win slip away against Yaqeen Nov 15, 2018
by Abdul Manjra

The first game of the night featured a desperate Ridha team doing its best to claw their way to a playoff spot taking on a relaxed Yaqeen team who sit comfortably towards the top of the standings. The desperarion showed early when Ridha pushed Yaqeen by buzzing in the offensive zone but could not capitalize. Yaqeen for their part also had the chance to go up after a few needless penatlies by Ridha but could not put any past the Ridha goaltender.

Ridha started the 2nd half by getting on the scoreboard with GM Mohammed Kazi going on a 2 on 1 and sneaking one past Yaqeen's goalie. The lead was shortlived as Suleman Bhatti tapped one backdoor with a beautiful setup from Maaz Haq.  Both teams traded chances throughout the 2nd half but it was Farhan Ingar that found himself all open in front of the net and capitalized to give his team a 2-1 lead with just 2:45 to go.
With the two points up for grabs and seconds ticking down, Suleman Bhatti decided to throw one on net and a very bizzarre bounce saw him tying the game to end an exhilarating one all tied 2-2. Ridha now face two must wins to give themselves a chance at the playoffs while Yaqeen will be gunning for 1st overall.
