This was a crucial game for playoff positioning but one team forgot to come out to play -- Al-Fil. The Eriterean Massive played without their swingman and team's second leading scorer, Sami. The competition lasted for the first 7 minutes before a slew of fast breaks and smooth passing led to an easy victory for the Nasr squad by a score of 66-45. Nasr was lead to victory by their 3-headed dragon of Kareem, Chris, and Renald who all scored and rebounded well. As usual, Al-Fil was anchored by 1st team All-Star, Bereket Hagos who chipped in his usual double double. The implication of this game is that Nasr finishes its season at 3-4-1 for a total of 7 points meaning that they will finish in 5th place and make the playoffs after a poor start. On the flip side, Al-Fil finishes a disappointing season at 2-6 for 4 points and is eliminated from the top 6 teams that will make playoffs.
